Starting as a desire to create some fun and easy t-shirts for bedtime,  these dreamy t-shirts develop into my painted-collage technique for an article in Somerset Studio entitled:  Stamped and Painted T’s.   Extremely popular, this article and technique are sure-fire hits.  Soon, rubber stampers  across the country are making and wearing these shirts to conventions and even making them as gifts.

This technique is much fun that I create a set of collaged-purses for Belle Armoire Magazine and a set of cards for Scrap and Stamp Arts

No matter if you use fabric paints or inks, the basic technique is the same.  Just remember, with paper you will want to use low-tack masking tape.  When working on fabric, apply the fabric paint to the shirt and rubber stamps with a foam paint brush.

Full instructions for the T’s can be found in the first issue of Handcrafted by Stampington & Company.
